Welcome to Mardlaapa Designs, a surf-inspired fashion brand that blends Aboriginal artwork with modern designs. Founded in late 2021 by Temaana Sanderson-Bromley, our brand embodies the spirit of adventure, creativity, and sustainability as well as respect for the land and the people who call it home.

Temaana is a young Adnyamathanha, Narungga and Wangkangurru Yarluyandi man from the Flinders Ranges, Yorke Peninsula and Simpson Desert. 

As the sole designer of our garments, Temaana infuses each piece with a unique blend of surf culture and Aboriginal art. Our designs are inspired and reflect the natural beauty of the yarta (land) from the sea to the desert, and the rich culture of the Aboriginal people.

At Mardlaapa Designs, we are committed to promoting
sustainability and ethical practices throughout our supply chain. We use
high-quality materials that are eco-friendly and socially responsible. Our
garments are either printed in house or by an Australian screen-printing
company.

For each product sold, we donate 5% of the profits to a different environmental and wildlife cause each 3 months. Our goal is to sell clothing that people enjoy wearing as well as helping the environment simultaneously.
